These are really strong and actually work on my glass white board!! They hold 4 pieces of paper without sliding. The colors are vivid and they are easy to grab. Great value!

They are smaller than I thought they would be. Still bigger than some other magnets I've gotten though. They work on the refrigerator. I have not tested them to see if they will scratch the refrigerator's finish though. I bought them to see if they would work on my new Glassboard glass desk craft mat. They do not work on that type of craft mat. While I'm disappointed at that, I can still use them on other magnetic surfaces and will not discard them or give them away. So, just know that if that if this is what you want the magnets for, they don't work. The glass is too thick (1/4") for the magnet to reach the metal that is on the back of the glass craft mat. On the other hand, if you want to turn the glass over and work on the metal side of the craft mat, they stick just fine. I don't plan to do that due to the weight of the board and I don't need to be cleaning up glass if I drop it. They sell magnets for this item, but they are $40+ for 8 magnets! So, I was trying to be cheap... will get the other magnets someday, but not at $40. For now, it's just a white glass craft mat for me! LOL Hope that helps someone else!

I have a glass craft mat with a metal back which is intended to be used with magnets; however, most magnets barely cling to the mat. These little magnets are truly powerful and do actually grip the glass mat well, even to the point of holding cardstock to the glass mat even when it is turned upside down. The other benefit is that the magnets have a small footprint, so they do not cover a lot of the cardstock they are holding down. They do not hold the cardstock firmly enough to ink blend without shifting, but they are very useful when trying to glue layers together.
