As others said, which I read in advance, these are loose fitting on my 40 year old Samsonite chairs. But a quick wrap with electrical tape (any tape should work fine) took care of it. A little tap with a hammer and they are nice and snug. They are now perfect.Would recommend.

Plug is too small. It won't stay in place because the diameter is smaller than the leg.

My folding chairs, and the table that goes with, were a gift from my father over 30 years ago so I guess it is normal for plastic parts to start to break. By measurements these plastic end caps are a perfect match for the job. However, there isn't enough of a friction fit to keep them from rotating so the little tabs that stick out have no effect in helping maintain the centering of the two chair parts when they come together as the plastic would just rotate under pressure. But from an aesthetic perspective they fill the hole well and buffer the contact point of the 2 chair parts, to bad their not brown, to match the chair color.

This product works great. Exactly as advertised. Fit was easy quick. Since there are so many options, I was worried that they would be too big or too small. Great product to replace those old cracked/broken stabilizer caps.

These are nicely made, but they are only 0.800 inches in diameter. They claim to be 0.875" (7/8"). They are small enough that they will fall out if the chair is tipped when closed. However, these are the only replacement caps of this type that I have found in all of my searching, so I went ahead and bought them. I wrapped a piece of electrical tape around the part that inserts into the chair tube. That added enough material to make them fit snugly. I think if they were truly 0.875 inches they would fit better. Giving them 4 stars because I was able to retrofit them to make them work.
