We own a glass shop so these are used frequently. They work great and priced very nice!

These work great. They will be perfect for handling large smooth surfaces.

Hugely disappointed with these suction cups - they're nothing but trouble and potential accidents waiting to happen. Despite all the fancy talk about the brass pump and metal handle, the suction failed multiple times while I was testing them. One wouldn't hold no matter how much I pumped it.The metal handle might be durable, but it doesn't matter when the brass suction part is so unreliable. They also lose suction way faster than the advertised 6 hours - mine started slipping after just minutes.Save your money and avoid the headache (or potential injury). These are definitely not worth the risk when handling expensive materials. The carrying case is nice, I guess, but that's about the only positive thing I can say about this purchase.I had two sets to try out only one suction cup held great & for much more than 6 hours with no exposed red line. Two held for less time with one still holding with red line exposed while the other plunger never completely recessed as the one that actually worked did. The fourth one as I said wouldn't hold at all. I tested all on clean smooth granite with three being tested for many hours in place. As I said I would only completely trust one out of 4 but one other may be acceptable for lighter loads IMO.Oh & plunger isn't removable in all that I tried & I have used many over time from manual pump to electric pumps.

I would first like to say that they are very nice and while I was able to use both they were working great. Unfortunately, right in the middle of using them at work yesterday the button popped off and the spring came out both falling 6 stories down onto a car going into the parking garage I was working above. They are about 6/7 months old being purchased in August of 2024. The usage has been minimal and they are always stored in their case to keep protected. I haven't been able to find contact info for the company. Hopefully, this post helps with that issue.

I’m not a professional in the glass or tile installation business, but after seeing experts use this type of tool, I always wanted one for my own DIY projects. As both a homeowner and landlord, I frequently deal with older wood-frame windows and aluminum storm windows, many of which are stuck due to layers of paint or years of inactivity. In the past, I’ve struggled to free them using makeshift tools, sometimes damaging the wood or even cracking the glass. In a few cases, I was never able to get them unstuck at all. When I found this model on Amazon, I was impressed by the affordable price and excited (no pun intended) to finally own one. I’ve read that protecting the rubber suction cup is crucial, and this unit makes it easy with a well-designed protective cap and a sturdy clamshell case with secure latches.Even without reading the instructions right away (which I recommend doing for the best results), I found it incredibly easy to use. The pump plunger works smoothly, creating strong suction instantly. When you’re finished, the release button quickly breaks the seal for easy removal.Compared to other similar models on Amazon, this one is a bit more expensive, but has a brass plunger and metal release valve, rather than the plastic on other models, so I would expect this to hold up better to long term use by pros who are using it really frequently. On the other hand, some of the plastic models here on Amazon have a built in gauge which makes it a little more obvious if you are in the proper range of suction, so they might be better for a beginner who is only using it occasionally, where durability isn't a concern.Using this tool has made handling windows so much safer and more comfortable. Instead of struggling with makeshift grips or risking damage, I now have a secure hold that distributes pressure evenly. I also suspect it might work for pulling dents out of cars, which would be a fantastic bonus use!

This review is for the 8" Glass Suction Cup, 2 Pack Vacuum Suction Cups with Metal Handle and Brass Pump, Heavy Duty Suction Cups for Glass & Granite Lifting, 480 lbs Load Capacity with Carrying Case... Offered by the Brand: Gotsblock:- A quick learning curve on how to use these suction cups. I watched a few videos on how to operate them, and from there I had no issues.- These have a strong suction grip, and are very heavy duty.- Moved some heavy cabinets, and with the aid of these it really made the job much easier.- Priced as expected compared to others in this category.- Very satisfied, so I am recommending this specific set.

I'm a builder and got these to mostly assist with installing large glass panels, windows, and doors.I have another set of suction cups that are the generic inexpensive Amazon type that are similar to these, but constructed of plastic. While those have worked well so far, I wanted another set and came across these. This set of suction cups is nicer in every way, shape, and form. The metal handles and brass mechanisms on these should hold up to years of job site use and abuse. These are just as easy to use as the other set I have, but every component is more durable than the other set I've got.If you're a professional that's going to be using suction cups on a regular basis, I'd definitely suggest getting a set of these over the less expensive ones.

They do not hold. Not safe at all. Thankfully no one was injured using them.
