Used these for a recent bathroom tile project. I was re-tiling my shower area and installing several large 12†x 24†tiles. Being able to use a handle to hold tile while positioning it just right instead of clinging to the edge with my fingernails was a game changer!Easy and intuitive to use, one finger operation, kit included some replacement parts and a nice case for storage and protection. Good value!

This vacuum glass kit is better than I expected. It performed well. I am remodeling my main bathroom and primary ensuite. I am installing large glass wall, and this does an exceptional job of holding the glass. I easily picked up a 24" x 24" piece of solid surface countertop as well. I've used it a few times so far. I can't speak for long term, but the quality tells me these should last. The carry case is fair. It holds everything just fine, but it just seems as it may not last as long as the tool. I'd recommend this kit.

These suction cups look professional and feel solid but have one big problem: they do not work for me. Whenever I receive something that does not work, the first thought that crosses my mind is the culprit might be the operator or user. The problem is to operate them is way too easy for me to screw up. I tried them on four different large pieces of glass. After wiping them clean, I followed the four simple steps in the third picture of the webpage and the user manual. I tried more than three dozen times, but it would not work. There was a temporary and insignificant amount of suction but not enough to lift anything. I own four simple suction cups that use a lever to suck the air out, and they work without a glitch time after time.My background was in aerospace and avionics engineering. For more than 29 years, I designed, wrote tests, and ran tests that were many times more complicated than this. Of course, with that experience, I can still screw up but the likelihood is very slim; therefore, I sincerely believe the problem is due to faulty products; based on that, the best I can give to these suction cups is a 2-star rating.

I work in the commercial glass business and we use these types of suction cups so I have a bit of experience with them. The ones we use are all metal except for the rubber cup itself. Otherwise they are similar. I stuck these to a flat steel door for several hours. One of them was slowly loosing it's suction after a few hours, but the other one kept it's suction. I have recently tested out some other cheap suction cups on Amazon and these seem better quality than those. The commercial version we use cost around $150 each, so there is a significant difference. About the only thing I disliked about these was that the valve that you pump for the suction can come out of it's cylinder. On the commercial versions we use this does not happen. I would say these are fine for the average DIY'er or to carry something or lift something into place. I would not count on them to use in a dangerous or life safety condition.
