They are screw eyes. They screwed in fine and eye has held hanger with no problems.

The hooks are well made, no burrs like you might find on similar hooks. The threads are deburred as well. The photo shows the size of the hook in someone's hand. The hands are probably those of an 8 year old because the hooks are much smaller than I expected. They will serve my purpose but a larger hook is what I wanted.

This saved me a few dollars. It was a lot cheaper than The Home Depot. I used them to hang lights in my garage. Happy with the purchase.

2.5 inch was true to size. Much cheaper than big box store and big box did not have the size I wanted. Lightly attracts magnet. Time in salt water will tell but looks like a very good value.

These are clearly not 2.55†in length, 1.18†width with a 1.22†thread or 0.23†thread diameter! The eye opening is rightly 5mm, not 30mm as the add describes. By these if you want to hang your chihuahua, not a bike, canoe or other large item! This is such false advertising! What a waste of my time, not to mention the resources it took to get them here in three days, Noe those that will be expended to get them back to the warehouse, where they will set for the next poor fool who orders them.
