Needed to block our new kitten from going under the bed. These worked well to keep her out from underneath. Heavy duty enough and easy to cut to size. Double stick tape worked fine to hold it to the light pile carpet.

Granted it's just plastic, but the sticky tape is definitely sticky, and they DO work keeping my dogs toys from under the couch! Would buy again when needed

I have an older dog that will occasionally get himself backed under my bed and get stuck. These "under couch blockers" were the fix that prevents him from doing that. The adhesive is strong enough that if he schoothes back against it while trying to get up, it holds. My only complaint, and it's no fault of the product, its that vacuuming under the bed is a bit more difficult. Oh well, worth it for the peace of mind knowing my dog won't get himself wedged under the bed while I'm not home to rescue him.

These seemed like a good choice for the price. After installing, I realized I needed to fix one of the panels. It took about 30 minutes, with a blow dryer to remove. My cat still ended up being able to get under the couch, which is highly frustrating. Save yourself the hassle and get something without adhesive.

I've tried several other toy blockers to keep my dogs' toys from going under the couch, and they all just fall off or eventually fail in some way. These are the best I've tried so far. They actually block the toys from going under and STAY ON. The secret is in the nano tape. Nano tape is one of the world's best inventions. It sticks like crazy, but can be removed when you want to, (just don't put it on paint!) plus, it's restickable. I wish I had found these first and saved a lot of trial and error.

The guards are easy to apply with the adhesive tape and prevent little things from getting knocked into hard to reach places. The photos show couches, but I found them great for keeping stuff from going under appliances. Who wants to move a refrigerator, washing machine, or dryer to fetch cat toys, Legos, and other small items?

I use these for stopping cat toys from getting lost forever under a sofa along with a Roomba robot vacuum that always stubbornly wedges itself under it (apparently, it has no Reverse gear).I would strongly suggest that you test the nano tape to ensure no varnish on hardwood floors comes off; leave it for a week and then remove it. If that's OK, then install the barriers.So far, so good.My rating system:5 Stars = Knocks it out of the park. A great value!4 Stars = Excellent product.
