I'm actually surprised at how well these work. The rubber is pretty thick and fits tightly around the snap. I'll try to remove them before laundering my jeans, but I'm very satisfied. I'm not sure it makes me look like a babe, but at least I can be comfortable in snug jeans that dig in a little in my waist. It's a whole lot quicker and easier than trying to find a pair of jeans that fit.Update: I just ordered these again, and the metal is just smooth. The first ones looked more like the ones on real jeans. They work as well, and I wear my shirts out, covering them, anyway, but I'm not crazy about them. (There seemed to be some other options as I recall, but the ones I originally received weren't available.

I have some high waisted jeans that are actually too snug in my waist even though I’m hourglass shape. These button extenders give you just the right amount because you have a choice of a couple different sizes and they worked perfectly.

I lost some weight recently and went down a couple sizes. Haven’t found pants to fit just yet, and I’m so tired of safety pinning every pair! I found these on Amazon and they were an absolute game changer! So easy to use. They go on your pants kind of like a pierced earring. Poke them thru the fabric and twist the back on. They look like the back would poke your belly but they don’t! They are comfortable and look like a regular button from the front. SO happy I found these!

It wasn't securely attached and came off easily, similar to how an earring might slip out.

This is a great concept but the buttons need stronger stems. I've broke three just using them on dress pants.
