I had come to accept that ceiling fans sometimes wobble as they get older. Especially on the high setting. Then we moved to a rental house with 2 fans of the same age in the same room. One wobbled and one did not. I couldn’t take it any more. After a couple of tests I found the blade (it might be two) and mounted the weight. Problem solved. The adhesive seems strong enough to stay on, hopefully I can get it off if I need to adjust later. Very satisfied.

This is a nice kit to help balance a fan. The instructions are clear.The weights are 3g and the plastic part also weighs 3g, which is good. I wish the weights were flatter. They could have more of a surface area to stick if they were flatter.They show in their ad that the plastic part opens wider than the competition. If you look at my pics, you can see very little space between the black prongs. I pried the prongs apart, and they are very stiff. I would not put this on my fan that has wide blades. It will fit 90% of the fan blades out there, but I would worry that this would scratch my thicker fan blades.Overall, it's a good kit.

First time I ever used a blade balancing kit. Literally did exactly what I was told, found the off blade on the first try, and this kit took me 5 whole minutes to diagnose and weight the bad blade. Comes with enough weights to get your fan completely squared away. Highly recommend!

4 complete sets of balancing kits. Including 4 plastic clips, which came out pretty useful since I needed more than one clip to find my ceiling fan balance point. I had to use 2 of them actually.The weights stick well.Great price.
