I like that, these tools, protect my fingers and help me do better hand work on my projects. I think the price is reasonable for what you get. Find the leather finer protection easier to use than a thimble If you’re not going through real thick fabric. I have gone through tmedium thickness of leather and fake fur and several layers of fabric using this product.

I bought these for the leather type of thimbles, which are great. However that ridge on top of the adjustable thimble is a chef's kiss of thimbles. Nothing beats them. Perfect for hours of hand stitching.

I like the storage box, the metal thimble (it's better than the one I needed to replace), and the fact that the variety kit gives me the opportunity to try the thumb ring style.But the leather finger guards are complete junk. Since they make up half of the thimbles in the kit, that's a significant waste. The problem is the little divots that are supposed to hold the end of your needle in place are so shallow the needle end tends to skid when I push. I already had a decent leather finger protector, and, even though pictures are generally bad at showing depth, you can easily see the divots on the ones from the kit are little more than decoration.Oh, well, I got an upgrade on my metal thimble, have a smaller one now in case a younger relation needs to use my kit sometime, I can play with the ring style, and, since I had to throw away all the leather guards that came with the kit, there's plenty of room for the other thimble and guard I already own in the box!
