Great for melting aluminum and lead. I tried copper with just a propane torch and couldn’t get it to a meeting point but I was close. Maybe I’ll have better luck in the summer. I dropped the graphite mold a couple times from waist height but it never chipped. Good solid construction and fun to use.

too small a crucible for working with aluminum and the tools are all designed around the small crucible.
