I needed to strap down my shade strings as my cats play with them and are wrecking the cellular shades with their claws. I also do not want to come home to a strangled cat. SO far they are working perfectly. It is easy to strap and unstrap when I want to open and close the shades. They are sturdy and I do not see how they would come off as other reviewers say. Maybe it has to do with the surface. Mine are attached to the side of the window trim which is painted white wood. Even if they did fall off in a few months the pack comes with many so I still think it is worth the money.

The plastic is not perfectly cut, but it's good enough - does the job. Suggest to use two for each blind cord, so you can wrap it around both of them.

I recently "inherited" two young cats from another family member. Though they're sweet, they go through episodes of mayhem and destruction. They simply couldn't resist my miniblind cords. This'll show them that I mean business!I just received the hooks today, so I don't know how long they'll last, but so far, I have seen no problem with either the sticky pad being too sticky, or not sticky enough and falling off the wall. So far, they are "just right" and I hope the cats will stop all the shenanigans.Another reviewer posted a photo of how they installed the hooks in sets of two so they could wrap the cords around two hooks and save time. That's what I did, and I like that a lot. I'll end up buying more for the rest of the house, but it will be worth it to keep the crazy cats from trying to hang themselves. Recommended.

Last time I bought self-adhesive window cord cleats, they did not stick to my textured wall, and I returned them. Then, after looking over what else was available that people swore actually worked, I bought these-- and they work! They stick snugly to the wall and hold the cords perfectly. I can't say for sure how they will be in a few months, but for now I am a satisfied customer.

Easy to apply and gets the cords high enough away from kids or animals. Absolutely worth the money.
