The eyes of the needles are way too wide & do not go through the open mesh ! Useless, wee need to buy separate needles for any project related to this.

For my purposes at least, this seems like a good set of canvas mesh sheets. I am not a frequent user of them, and it has been a while since I bought any, so I cannot say how they compare to other brands, but they seem pretty much comparable to others I have tried. They arrived in good shape and seem durable enough. As long as the price is right, I would get them again in the future.

There are 7 pieces of mesh and it comes with 10 needles. The canvas mesh is good quality with 6" per inch.Now it is only 7 sheets of mesh canvas, not 8. They are including the 10 needles as the 8th piece in this kit. Funny as there are 10 needles, so the logic would be counting the needles as 10 pieces, right? Nope!The needles are ok but I do find the eye of the needle going through the mesh is a bit hard. I do have a needle like this in metal and I will probably use that. I'm thinking with the wool and theses needle do not go hand in hand. I don't want any distortion of the mesh canvas. But if I use floss, shouldn't be too big a problem.There are multi uses that can be used for these. There are also good for cutting pieced to make 3D objects. As I am into cross stitching, this isn't very different to using the plastic mesh as opposed to cloth/Aida fabric.Beside the confusion of how to count canvas mesh and needles, the canvas mesh is of good quality. However, the price of $22.99 divided by 7 you see where I am goin with this. The needle are plastic and won't last, well with me they will as I won't be using them.
