I ordered this to help me with some fine sanding on plastic lenses and smooth surfaces that needed a finishing sand prior to polishing. The handle/grip is soft and pliable and I found it good for getting into tight areas and conforming to uneven surfaces without rounding or cupping. The sanding pads themselves however are in my opinion, of poor quality. For a fair comparison, I cut out pads of the same grit and size using 3M sandpaper. The 3M pads lasted twice as long and provided better results. For the price this little kit isn’t bad. Just temper your expectations and limit the use of the included pads to general purpose work and invest in better pads. The handle/grip is worth the price all by itself honestly.

Very good for sanding down resin projects. I was really pleased to see the variety of different grits of sandpaper with it. I’m really pleased with this.
