Needed to use a low profile, drop base air cleaner assembly. The only way to do this for an Edelbrock 1406 carburetor is to change the fuel inlet from a horizontal fitting to a right angle fitting pointing straight down. This did the trick and was 1/3 the price of anything like it from any other supplier.

It’s nice and all but inner diameter isn’t big enough to fit fuel screen.

I typed in the Edelbrock part number and this is what came up. It is not an Edelbrock part, and it should not carry the same part number.
