I tried to use this telescope for concerts, and I was unhappy with the experience. The focus knob is very loose, so it is difficult to make delicate adjustments. Because the material is matte, it feels slippery and is difficult to hold securely. The saving grace would have been usability with phone cameras, as shown in the listing, but no matter how patient I was, I could not get my phone camera to focus properly when looking through the telescope.

At $29, not worth it. However, I received a 40% discount. At $20, worth it. It’s slight weight but has nice quality features. The tripod is OK and it comes with a bracket for taking pictures with your phone and it’s overall well designed. The carrying bag is sufficient. So it’s a nice item to toss in your pocket on a hike.
