I wanted a heavy star effect than what I actually got but it does it purpose. Since they’re on the cheaper side I’ve been playing around with them. I’ve used all kinds of lotions, oils and Vaseline and I’ve gotten some pretty cool effects.

The Starburst of this star filter is too weak. For the starburst to work, you have to get intense light sources to point directly to your lens. It is very hard to clean the glass of this filter. All three filters emit harsh chemical smell. The only good thing about this filter is that it is Variable Star Filter as GREEN.L stated, "Rotate the filter in any degrees to give star effect in your desire." If you want a star filter, I suggest you get a Variable Star Filter. Sometime the regular, non-variable star filter has the starbursts that cover your main subjects. With a variable star filter, you can rotate the starburst angle without loosening the thread.

slim, light, glass looks OK. some ghosting with intense light sources but that was expected. i attached a photo, be free to judge for yourself

Works exactly as advertised and was just what I was looking for. My only complaint is that the 3 filters aren't labeled, so I can't really tell how many points I'm going to get on the star until I put it on the lens.Other than that, great for the price.

I made a good use of them, great effect. I was afraid they are too fragile as they are quite slim but I had no issues with them so far. Only thing is I wish the star points (e.g. 4, 6, 8) was written on them but I've found a way around it.

this is the 8 point filter. fixed in post obviously - if i could have used it and my nd filter at the same time that would've been great but i digress.

when you are wanting to make your photos more sparkly what a wonderful way to do it, I have attached a test photo with a 6 star and natural night filter. excellent buy !!!
