- The SD card for the navigation system can only be used in one vehicle. Once installed in a vehicle's navigation system, it becomes locked to that vehicle's VIN. It cannot be transferred to another vehicle or installed in a computer, or else the data will be lost.
- We regret to inform you that the navigation SD card cannot be updated. Your understanding in this matter is greatly appreciated. The product packaging contains only one navigation SD card and does not include a user manual.

"SD Card removed" appeared on my 2021 Cadillac XT5 display. It was obviously installed. removed it and reinstalled a few times. Plugged it into my SD Card reader on my PC and it didn't show up. Purchased this on Amazon, plugged it in after reading directions. Works great.This isn't the cheapest one on Amazon, but I can say it fixed my problem, not sure if the less expensive ones would work. Cadillac/GM wanted $413.96, their supplier wanted $99.00 (which is reasonable).Other items that can cause this problem is the card reader itself (located in the arm rest console) or there is a technical bulletin that says it may be related to a bad ground. I'm mechanically knowledgeable and computer literate. If you can't read the SD card on your PC, good chance it's the card that is bad.

I seldom write reviews, but I think I should do it this time. It operates excellently and appears to be entirely current for my region. I love it.

This nav card balances quality and cost. Prod desc shows Toolbox & OEM limits. Can't update via Toolbox, but it's okay. Can replace later. For the price, it's a good way to keep nav system working without spending much.

So happy with this card, went to the dealership and the price was outrageous, they wanted 6 times more than I paid here and it works great!
