Just received the measuring tape in the mail and the eye leveler does not work, that was the one part my kid was so excited about. Very disappointed.**update, replacement was sent in a few days, it is perfect! So happy that a new one was sent, the kids LOVE it!

My daughter loves playing with her dad's measuring tape, so I was super excited to get her a kid-friendly one that wouldn't hurt her fingers. This was a Christmas gift, and it broke within the first week. My husband opened it up to see if something had just shaken loose, but no such luck. It's still usable but will no longer lock, so the tape doesn't immediately retract, and the button will not pop out. It's totally loose.Really cute idea, just needs more durability, especially for something intended for children, who are invariably hard on their belongings.

I bought a pink one and a blue one. The eye (level) on the pink one doesn’t work, and when I went to exchange it they were sold out. Fortunately the kid it was for didn’t care, and was more concerned with the measuring tape part.

I wanted to love this so much and my very responsible 3 year old was so excited to have her own measuring tape until it broke in the first five minutes of use. We were so disappointed.
