This splitter connects to two PCs or laptops and to a single DisplayPort capable monitor. It falls short of being a full KVM as it doesn’t cater for peripherals such as a keyboard and mouse so it seems to me that a laptop and PC tower would be the only combination that would benefit from this device.The splitter itself is solid, heavy and sturdy in construction and the Aluminium housing is nice to look at and it offers a feeling of quality. The switching button is firm and accurate.It is essentially ‘plug and play’ so long as you can find an appropriate power source. It comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable so I used the USB-A socket on my monitor to power it and that was fine. If you don’t have a spare USB-A I’m sure it will work with a USB-C to USB-C cable.It’s a nice product that looks and feels quality. If it lasts it will be great. If it doesn’t, I’ll be back to update this review.

This all-DisplayPort switcher, although small, has a solid weight to it and is well made. It comes with a USB-C to USB-A cable to facilitate connection to the independent power source which it needs to operate. For me, this is brilliant, as the move to "all USB-C" has nearly made all my USB-A adapters redundant. At least now I get to use one of them again. I prefer DisplayPort to HDMI frankly, and have been looking around for a straight DisplayPort switcher for a while.It was very simple and straightforward to set this up, and there was no doubt as to which connection went where (the side with two DisplayPort connections goes to the PCs). I'm slowly moving my remaining PCs from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and this has enabled me to just click from one to the other and share my huge screen, instead of using a smaller screen for the setup processes as I have been doing recently. This one is small enough to use as a portable device if required, and reduces clutter. Picture quality has not suffered between the two, though it has taken a second or two before the switch is apparent.A good investment if you like small functional gadgets, but especially if you've only got one large screen and want to use other PCs with it.
