For my usecase, I have a PC outputting with DisplayPort, and a macbook with HDMI. I just wanted to be able to switch 1 monitor between my PC and macbook.I would have rather bought a KVM that has a DP input for PC1 and an HDMI input for PC2, but I couldnt find any. I also looked for an HDMI to DP cable for my macbook but I only found active adapters and I was worried about latency introduced by the active adapting so I avoided this option as well.In the end, I went with this KVM switch and I have both outputs plugged into my monitor, the monitor's source set to "auto", and switching between my PC and macbook is now so much more convenient as its faster to press a button on the KVM than to go to my monitor settings and switch the input

I'm very pleased with this purchase. Paired with a USB hub, I am able to easily switch between my work laptop and my home gaming computer. I can enjoy HDR too at the full refresh rate of my ultrawide monitor, which is 160Hz. It seems to be a pretty robust switch with plenty of weight to convince me this is the real deal. I will report back in several months once I've had plenty of use with it. Just wanted to leave this initial review to dispel another reviewer who said they had issues with their ultrawide and this KVM.

I work from home and have a gaming PC set up at the same desk. I bought this KVM to save me the trouble of having to switch inputs on my dual monitors as well as using two keyboards and mice. I appreciated the dual screen HDMI/display port connectivity as well as the 4 port USB 3 hub. No software or drivers required for most operating systems. I say most because I'm unsure if some older operating systems will support the hub or not. Thanks to the hub I'm able to use my having headset for both my job and gaming without having to unplug as well as have my uninterruptible power supply hooked up so when I'm working, if the power goes out, I can track how much time I have left before shutdown. The hub switches with the screens and connects to the PC's via a supplied USB A cable. I was disappointed by the length of the power cable and the USB cables for connecting to the hub to the PCs. They're only a few feet in length and while I was able to make it work it did create some cabling annoyances. It does come with a wired remote for switching but I haven't tried it out yet as the KVM is sitting within reach. While it works great most of the time occasionally I have noticed static on the display port screen and the occasional delay or ghosting from my keyboard and mouse. This is rare, however, and not a big enough problem for me to want to replace it. That's why I only gave it 4 stars.

The product claims it can handle three monitors and that it supports 4k over 100 hz. Yet when I plug in 1x 1080p and 2x 1440p monitors the whole thing freezes and lags so much that it's unusable. Avoid this product.

Would make the display port on my Samsung c49rg90 144hz monitor flicker and rotate like an old analog TV the image would completely black out at times. Doing a sleep wake cycle would make the issue worse. I tried different displayport cables, made no difference

Allow two computers to share three monitors and four USB devices. Easy to install. Comes with connection leads. Has its own power supply to ensure steady usage. Up to 8k display. Good value for money.

As part of my job I often need to set up computer controlled optical instruments for customer demonstrations. Sometimes I need to set up two systems with two computers but space limitations mean that I only have space for one monitor keyboard and mouse. This KVM switch allows me to easily switch between computers and the attached optical instruments with the push of a buttonThe unit has two pairs of USB3 and HDMI sockets on the back for connection to the computers and one HDMI out socket for the monitor. The front has four USB3 ports for accessories (so I assume the unit could also be used as a 2 way to 4 way USB 3 switch without using the video ports although I didn’t test that. There aren’t any spare USB ports on the back of the unit so the keyboard and mouse need to be plugged into the front which is a bit inconvenient. The front has a small round socket labelled Control - I assume this is for some type of wired remote switch but this wasn’t included. In use switching was very fast with not obvious picture break up. HDMI connections can also carry audio but I didn’t have the necessary hardware to test that. The unit has a metal case which seems well made. It’s supplied with two USB 3 type A to type A cables, which is unusual because most of the other KVM switches I’ve seen advertised had type B ports on the switch box. There’s also a power supply and a user manual, but no HDMI cables.in my opinion the USB cables are is too short so I had to add a couple of USB extension cables to allow me to locate the computers in more convenient places. There’s a printed user manual which says that the unit works with Windows Vista and XP plus Mac OS, Linux and Unix, I don’t have any of these but it worked fine with a combination of one Windows 10 desktop and one Windows 11 laptop. It does the job it’s supposed to do but I’ve only given it three stars because of the lack of rear USB ports to connect a keyboard and mouse and the short cables.

This review is for "8K@60Hz KVM Switch HDMI 2 PC 1 Monitor USB 3.0 KVM Switcher 4K@120Hz Support 2 Computers Share 1 Monitor."To avoid listing confusion - the listing now shows a "2 computers share 3 monitors" version which is not the same as the product I ordered. This KVM switch came equipped with special USB-connection leads which have a USB-A plug on both ends, made to USB3.0 standard. Other than that, you have to provide all the HDMI leads yourself, and remember you will need one for each screen and one for each computer you are connecting. It also has a wired remote control for use when the box and all its cables are hidden away at the back or under a desk.I found it worked well, and my laptops, screens and USB peripherals all worked well with it - I used dongles for 2.4GHz mouse/keyboard, a bluetooth dongle and a USB camera, and all were recognised by the new laptop as it switched across. Great technology and it just works !It was great to have the incentive to reorganise my computer desk, and now I have the ability to easily use both laptops at the same workstation.I rate it five stars.

This 8K KVM switch has proven to be a decent solution for managing two computers with three monitors. The setup was relatively straightforward, and the switch itself feels sturdy and well built thanks to its metal construction. I appreciated having both HDMI and DisplayPort options for connecting my monitors, offering good flexibility. The 4K@120Hz and 8K@60Hz capabilities are a plus, though I haven't personally used the 8K feature. The 4K@120Hz worked flawlessly on my setup with no noticeable lag. The USB 3.0 ports are also a welcome addition, making it easy to switch between keyboards, mice, and other peripherals without any fuss. However, I did notice some occasional minor hiccups with the switching process, with the screen occasionally flickering for a brief moment.

In a nutshell:Things I liked:+ HDMI output seemed to work well. No issues and swift switching.+ Full metal body feels well constructed.+ Good length on the remote - allows you to stash the unit out of sight and just have the remote on the desk or have it in view with the USB 3 ports available to you if you prefer.Things I didn't like:- The listing appears to show a different photograph from the unit I was sent - I was sent a black and blue unit that switches two computers each with a single HDMI connection.- The price of £60 (at the time of ordering) is too high - other comparable units are about half that.Do I recommend it?Yes, but only if the issues above are resolved. If it's about £30, go for it. Any more and I'd recommend shopping around.
