I glued all the dowel pieces. Not required but why not? I didn't glue the uprights to the base because the screws are quite large and make a really sturdy connection. In fact they became so tight about 3/4 way in so I backed them out and ( this is my go-to fix for screws that are going in too tight.) rubbed the threads on a dry bar of soap. I was afraid of spitting the upright if I didn't. Wet glue works and does a tiny amount of liquid dish soap.

I purchased this product for a retail client of mine. The display was used for children's glasses, but it would be equally suitable for adult sized glasses. The stand was very easy to assemble and was sturdy and well made. If the stand was handled frequently, it might be a good idea to enforce the joints/point of connection with a little wood glue, but it seemed find as-is for our use. I would recommend this product.

The center posts were not aligned. All the holes were too small to fit the dowel rods through. I had to file each hole down by hand to let the rods through. It's not rocket science, do better. I have since tossed it in the trash.
