I bought this to hang my large antique picture frames. I got the idea from an old historic house I visited. Great value and quality rope. Color is a true gold color and not a yellow gold. Rope is thick enough to hang my large canvas art.

When I got it, the quality is great and the size too. However, it had a bright silver kind of coating but I soaked it overnight in some water and with a whole lot of bleach and it worked to break that silver down leaving me with shiny brilliant white! It's beautiful!

I purchased this to trim the edge of a dark green velvet Christmas tree skirt, that the silk lining works it way to the topside of the skirt. I gave this 3 stars because I was first sent a flat braid, not the rope trim. The color is 2 toned, a gold metallic & an orange toned metallic. It will work for 6 weeks of Christmas. It is a good quality. It hadn't pulled or become fiber fuzzy.
