This is just what I was looking for. Purchased this to replace our boats broken primer bulb. First off the ends on this primer are metal and I love that. Our old broker=n on had plastic fittings and that is where the failure tool place. It fit perfect to the new fuel line and primed fuel to the fuel pump very fast. It held prime throughout the entire run of the engine. The price was right and I would recommend this item. I will be picking a second one up as a spare.

Temporary but gets the job done. if bulb rubber goes bad. Just keep your old one and take the valves off this one. Now those are good quality. The valves of course.

5th season using my GasTapper system, and the bulb was cracked in the spring.Contemplated ordering a whole new system for $27, but thought I'd try this bulb for $8.Glad I did.

It leaks fuel after just 9 months. Rubber must be the wrong type, I don't need gasoline around my engine especially out in the middle of a lake.

This primer bulb looks like original. Works perfectly. I particularly like that the connection nipples are metal rather than plastic.

This fixed my old John Deer riding lawn mower starting issue perfectly by allowing me to prime the fuel to the carburetor before cranking. Sadly, it will crack and leak after a few months. I have bought 2 of these, each lasted about just as long.

My generator has a suction fuel pump driven from the air intake. To get generator running after a long lay off was a nightmare due to the number of pulls required on the starter cord (even hand book from generator manufacture say at least 10 pulls are required in these circumstances) . Eventually purchased one of these hand primer bulbs, not for the fuel line, but for the suction line to the pump. Need to disconnect suction line from the intake side of the generator and connect to hand primer to get fuel moving with some gentle squeezes. Once carburettor has been filled with petrol ,and the suction line reconnected, the generator starts first or second pull. Bit of a fiddle, but it is a fix and I am friends with the generator again.

Des problèmes pour retrouver le produit sur le site, car les gens pensent que ces petites pompes sont réservées pour l'amorçage de certains diesels. Hors , elles sont très bien adaptées pour tout les carburants,essence ou diesel, en autre pour des véhicules essence qui servent que rarement, avec ces pompes plus besoin de vider les batteries pour amorcer l'arrivée du carburant, gain de temps et démarrage instantané quand le carburateur est plein. Je ne saurais trop les conseillers aux collectionneurs de voitures ayant un réservoir à l'arrière, pour lesquels Larrivée de l'essence est très laborieuse.
