The coupler material is weak and the set screw stripped out the moment I tightened it down on its 1st and only application. I followed with a spare set screw to be sure and it confirmed the threads were stripped in the coupler.

This coupling set arrived on time and was exactly as described. It worked perfectly with some 8mm stainless steel rods and they seem to be of very high quality. I was very pleased with these products.

No real surprises here. I ordered these for a 3d printer I am building. Ideally, you should make sure your shafts are as close to the size as possible. Each coupler has 4 grub screws which can help accommodate smaller rods but with the speeds that some of these will be running, you may end up with something that is out-of-balance. This will definitely show up in the quality of your prints... so keep it all balanced.Recommendation: use a magnetic bowl when you open the package. The grub screws are tiny and easily lost.
