First, let me say these are huge. I knew they were much larger than I needed for my firepit but I also need I could cut them to the size I wanted. Which I did.They work wonderfully. The ones I had in my fiore pit were well used up and my fuel was burning ridiculously fast. I swapped them with these and now my fuel last much longer. My flame is slightly lower, but not enough to effect my enjoyment of the fire in any meaningful way. I'm happy I can save money by not burning through my fuel so fast and will have many hours of enjoyment thanks to these wicks.

I have a tabletop fire pit I ordered on Amazon, and it came with two small squares of a similar material. I ordered this Ceramic Wool Wick and was pleased with the size and number of pieces. I will be able to cut new wicks for a long time. The wicks are working well, and I can't tell any difference from the original wicks. I like that I can cut my own shapes since I am thinking about making a small concrete table top fire pit and possibly try an oval shape.

I bought these and this did not extend the burning time of my Ethanol fireplace at all not even by 60 seconds. I timed itexact same amount of fuel with this wool and then without 33 was with the wool34 min was without.now, unless I did something wrong with how I used it.l I cut out a perfectly shaped circle to fit. top of my chamber, pushed it in put EPoured ethanol all over it let it soak into into the pad, lit itthere was absolutely no difference in burning time whatsoever. Not sure what this is supposed to be.
