Ordered this 8 pack of bridge rectifiers - 3 of them proved to be defective upon the testing of each rectifier in the package. Seems like something this simple should be easy to manufacture with 100% functional devices. Had a similar experience with another rectifier order - a multi-pack of these type components also a portion of those units tested defective.

If you service commercial or industrial electrical equipment, you need to have these full-wave bridge rectifiers in your parts stock. With their 1000 peak inverse volt DC, 50 Ampere ratings, they will replace almost any OEM diode bridges that you are likely to encounter. Packaging and mounting may differ, but that doesn’t matter as long as there’s room to mount them. Many of the older machines that I service used four individual diodes wired in a bridge configuration, so I simply mount one of these to the motor’s end cap and extend the length of the wires as needed.
