Caution:
The vacuum pump is shipped without oil, please add oil before operation.
The vacuum pump can not extract inflammable, toxic, or corrosive gas or particulars.
The temperature of extracted gas can not be over 80℃, and the proper environment temperature is -5℃~60℃.
The vacuum pump can not extract air for long time, or it may be damaged due to oil-free operation.
Warm Tip:
About the oil leakage issue, because every vacuum pump is tested and operated with oil before shipment, after that, the oil will be poured out, but there may be a little rested in the pump, which may cause oil leakage during the long transportation. If you find the oil leakage on the surface when receiving the product, just wipe it and then use.

- This vacuum chamber with tempered glass lid is specially designed for stabilizing wood, because wood stabilizing resins and volitile compounds are highly corrosive to polycarbonate and acrylic. Thus the acrylic crystal lid may crack soon in the wood stabilizing operation.

I use it often. The only draw back is it only pulls to -25. I use it to degas epoxy. works well.

This vacuum pump and chamber are satisfactory. The pump is quite noisy, and it takes a considerable amount of time to remove bubbles from a large quantity of resin, which is why I opted for a larger chamber. However, considering the price, I believe it is worth the wait. The product itself made very very well out of high quality materials. Please ensure that you have adequate storage space, as it is quite sizable.

I get that the product listing title says "without oil." But why not prominently tell people what kind of oil and how much they need? 225mL or 8 oz of vacuum pump oil, by the way.I hate reviewing items that require me to purchase follow-up items to operate. I've received dash cams that don't include memory cards, ethernet switches that don't include power cables, and now a vacuum pump that doesn't include oil.I now know that "vacuum pump oil" is a thing. It's not easy to find locally, and it's relatively expensive compared to something like motor oil. Luckily it doesn't take much.The pump works okay. The seal is decent. It will work great for degassing resin, which is why I wanted it.

I've wanted to get a degassing chamber for making resin castings for a long time, but they were always really cost-prohibitive.This is basically a giant stainless steel cooking pot, that's actually very appropriate gauge of metal (thickness) and it works great. I haven't tried the vacuum pump for a full pull-down, as I have a bigger one already set up, but I did try running it and aside from being a tiny bit loud it seems to work great.Overall great product, appreciate the included extras, and the lid is verrrry thick!

This is a great large system to get all those bubbles out of your resin prior to doing your castings. The kit comes with just about everything you need outside of the standard maintenance items necessary for the pump.The unit itself has a great seal and the vacuum pump does as it should. I haven't had any issues using it thus far. For the price I think the vacuum pump is more than good enough and is at a low enough decibel to where it shouldn't be an issue for any one to comfortably use without hearing protection.If you have issues with the type of vacuum pump used you could always buy a different one that's more expensive and quieter.Until We Meet Again-Off the Grid Ken
