Nice size. The stand rotates and isn’t the highest quality, but the size is perfect and the brick does what it is supposed to do. For the price I would buy again.

I am very happy with this purchase. This isn't too big or small....it is just right for making rings and bracelets. The fact that it rotates makes soldering at different angles alot easier. If I were to restart my metal smithing journey, this would have been the first surface I would have invested in. It fit perfectly on an average size desk with other tools and supplies. I do have a few other fire resistant surfaces behind it. I do wish their was a way to secure it to the desk. Maybe I will drill some holes and screw it down, but maybe a easy release clamp could be fashioned to secure it. I am pretty pleased with the price and quality. It does have dust particles in the packaging so be weary not to breath it in or make a mess while unpacking.

The turntable allows you to sit comfortably and calmly while soldering jewelry. I am now able to move and visualize all angles of the piece mid-soldering by pushing the turntable with my pick. The brick works perfectly with the turntable, and I have already ordered the replacement brick for whenever I will need it. I previously used charcoal bricks and Solderite board, and this setup is by far superior and hassle free. This tool/supply set has improved my soldering immeasurably and I would not work without them again.
