I'm am always restoring/refinishing old tools and such and it has been difficult finding brushes for the drill that hold up. These have been perfect.

I had used the product to get into tight spaces for removing paint from an iron fence. The paint had multiple layers from over 65 years. It definitely made the job easier than doing it by hand. I am not sure if this was the right application for the project that I was doing. I had never done this before but it seemed like it was hard to control the drill with this attachment. Maybe my speed of the drill or my technique was off.

These came apart quickly in a die grinder, likely only good for a drill.

Got these with the repainting of my cast iron fence and railings. A pretty big job that took several weekends to finish. These were perfect in my Foredom Flex Shaft. The 1/4" shaft provided excellent grip. Three sizes for different size jobs. Best part is that the bristles are twisted in bundles, which helps keep them stiff. Comes in very handy if extra pressure is needed to be applied. And while the wires are twisted, the ends are spread opened wide enough for full coverage for the size of the brush head. The steel wires and ends are aggressive enough to easily strip the old paint, and stiff enough to stay twisted, without spreading apart. The only negative is the carbon steel construction. While it helps keeps costs down, they rust easily if stored wet, or in high humidity environment.

I really like this set of wire wheels. I used it on an old shepherd’s hook which was quite rust. It took the rust off in no time. Very strong, and sturdy.

I use all sorts of wire brush, cups, wheels and discs, but have never seen these. I got them for that reason, because this beats using a wire brush stripping off rust, corrosion or paint from metal. It won't totally eliminate the need for a brush in all cases, but using these means you'll have less work to do. They're knotted, and so they last much longer than your standard wire wheels. They're densely packed and are pretty hefty for their size. I don't see me needing to use these very often, but am very happy that I have them and would order more. They really do a good job, and can't think of any other product in this size that does a good job stripping.

DH loves these. He uses them to remove rust from his tools and anything else he needs to remove rust from. He showed them off to me, explained their use ad nauseum, and happily took them back to his workshop, after commenting that there are enough in the box to last him a lifetime!
