This is the quality maker, thought I'd save a buck. I bought a cheap one and it didn't shut off and the emergency went off. Spent 1 hour trying to adjust it until the plastic broke. Ever see an air compressor blow up? Not worth it. Buy this from a quality vendor. This Square D model worked immediately and has continued to function perfectly. My dads air compressor has this same controller since I was a kid - I'm 60 and the thing still works!

Everything worked when installed and fixed the problem of the previous two cheaper Lefoo switches that both had valves that leaked after the switch shut the compressor off. However, it arrived in a torn box that was taped together, it was missing a ground screw, and the acorn nut that holds the cover on. My best friend is an electrician and he checked all of the connections and thought that it was ok to install, so we did. I'm satisfied that everything worked once installed after replacing the switch for the third time, but very disappointed that I purchased a new switch and received one that was either used or purchased for parts, returned, and sold again as new with parts missing. I would have sent it back, but it has been two weeks with my big compressor down, so I found replacements for the missing parts in my shop and just went ahead and installed it. I know Square D makes a fantastic product, so I still had to give it 5 stars because it's no fault of the manufacturer that I didn't get what I was sold, just be sure to check the item before installation.

Switch is nice quality with the exception of the on/off lever which is flimsy as others have stated. I plan to leave it in auto most of the time so not really an issue for me. Telemecanique is a major brand in industrial controls, but you may not have heard of them as I don't think I've ever seen them outside of industry. So know the name is quality, it was originally a French company now owned by a Taiwanese group, in case you were wondering. Same switch is branded Square D as Square D and Telemecanique were both part of Schneider Electric.

Easy replacement on an older Rolair twin tank 1.5hp electric wheelbarrow compressor. It comes set at 125psi for a cut off, but you can adjust it higher. I set mine to cut out at 135psi. Cut in is set at about 25psi less, so mine cuts in about 110psi. I don't know the max psi cutoff, but it says to not use this switch above 220psi, so I assume it is higher than 135psi.Range adjustment is done with one screw. Remove the one nut holding the cover on and tighten the 5/16" screw to increase cut out pressure. Instruction are included.

This air compressor pressure switch is far superior to the original that came with my compressor when new.I tried a direct oem replacement for my compressor, but it didn't last a week before failing...this one from Square D has been working flawlessly for a few months now, and I anticipate that it will last many years to come.I had to do some adapting to my compressor connections, but it's worth the effort and small additional cost for adapter parts.

The switch was easy enough to install, but after installation one of the contract blocks would do nothing but arc. I filed it and got it to make contact. After I got it running it would shut the compressor off some times or some times not. No amount of adjustment seemed to help. If you buy it, make sure you have a good pressure relief valve.
