Well, It did freak me out a bit when i first turn the unit on it had a some smoke come out.....of in my mind " i was OH SH-- i just set my house on fire trying to DYI it" i could also hear my wife saying "see i told you to call a professional...." but all is good and its works fine. A good friend told me it happens when coils are first heated.... I not gonna lie ,i spent the next half hour sniff testing the vents.... it was easy to install...just be sure to get a new sensor,the old one might be a different size ( the OD).

If it's the right part, works like a champ. The tail pin is a pain to get lined up. Also, on initial fire up, it will smoke. Manufacturing oil on the coils. Also, this does have a second hole for a backup sequencer. My furnace doesn't have that setup...... open home at the moment..... guess I'll see if my classy double wide burns down....

My neighbor was able to find and install this part with minimal effort.My heating and cooling technicians just said…â€It’s an old heater and the part doesn’t exist.â€My handyman neighbor found this coil on Amazon, then installed it easily!Now I have heat in my home and it’s freezing outside now.
