Bought to replace the stock rear carrier the previous owner had welded into a full time locker. Seems like a quality heavy duty piece of gear. Doesnt make any noise driving and should be a nice boost in traction. Do yourself a favor and pickup the yukon gear super shim kit, it makes adjusting the preload and setting the backlash super easy. I re-used the existing ring gear and backlash was very close except whoever previously worked on that rear left the backlash at 18 tho so I had to re-shim anyway.

I purchased two of these and put them in my 84 Blazer front and rear. I am yet to get this truck out off road to test them thoroghly , but they are quiet and seem to work great. FYI, if you buy these for a stock replacement as I did, be aware they are .005" shorter than the factory carrier so have a selection of shimms standing by and also the larger carrier bearings that mid 2000 models and up come with.
