I have one of these in the back of my van and I never hear it clunk and it never drives funny, sometimes I wonder if its there because it is very smooth. The best part is that it delivers the power to the wheel with traction so one doesn't just sit there spinning a tire and going nowhere, if one of my rear wheels has traction my van goes!
