Neither Dorman, this manufacturer, Amazon, nor ebay show this part as fitting a 1997 F150. However, it does fit mine. I can only assume that is because it was a transition year for the F150 that some trucks may not use this part.Visually this was identical and verified as identical in construction and fit side by side with my horn pad removed from truck.Installed without issue and works as expected.I think the price was a very good value considering this was keeping my truck from passing safety inspection. Even if it does not last long, I would replace with this yearly for inspection at this price.

Very easy to install, 2005 f250 horn was stuck on. This fixed the problem

The horn on my 2006 6.0 was stuck on, I tried to reset the contact, even used a heat gun to get it unstuck and nothing worked. This replacement part fit perfect and I’m back to being able to use my horn again!
