We’ve spent years researching, finding, and selling Silver Jewelry from all over the world and we have after these many years settled on Italy as the #1 source for Sterling Silver Chains. Anyone can find silver chains all over. At the mall, at the jewelry store etc. etc. And many of those also come from Italy.
But our Jewelry is different from all others. It has been designed by us and therefore it is not your normal jewelry. We have spent years listening to our customers talk about what their Ideal Silver Chain would be like. Strong, does not pull my hair, is shiny and bright, does not knot or kink easily, gets me many compliments and more.
We have scoured the Factories in Italy and there are lots of them. We narrowed it down to just a couple of them who's quality is something we can be proud of and we have branded our own "recipe" to make up these superior chains. Including the exact specifications of cut, color, strength, clasp types and connector ring size and more. Each of our chains have been designed directly by us and are superior to what can be found in Department and Jewelry Stores.
What To Look For In Sterling Jewelry
Sterling Silver Jewelry has always been a more affordable alternative to Gold and one should be sure to choose the right thickness for a particular use. For instance, let’s use the following "rules" to help us choose.
- If worn alone, the thinnest available box or Singapore chain works. You can also use the thinnest box chain for very small lightweight pendants just fine.
- For a dramatic approach the shiny 8-sided magic snake chain is a good choice. Not usually used for heavy pendants though because too much side pressure can cause it to kink.
- For heavier pendants, the 2MM Rope Chain is great and super sturdy. It can handle just about any weight of pendant anytime.
- For multiple Chain combinations, we always go with the thinnest for the shortest one and thicker up the line to a total of maybe up to 5 chains.
Wrapping it All Up
The Smelting Process to make .925 Sterling Silver is a VERY exact process. The metals are mixed precisely and heated to an exact temperature. This is then pushed out through the bottom into a .925 Sterling Silver Rod about ½ inch thick. Then the rod is rolled through rollers that stretch out the Silver into a wire that is thinner and thinner all the way down to what is needed to make a particular chain.
We supervised and quality checked each step of the process to ensure our products met with our specific needs before we decided to use that Factory to manufacture Designer Sterling Silver Chains..

Mary Elizabeth and I have been in the Jewelry Business for over 30 years and through those years have heard many comments and complaints from people about buying Jewelry from Retail Jewelry stores. We have heard those comments and have set about to upgrade and help our customers deal with some issues involving Sterling Silver Jewelry
One issue is and has always been tarnishing. As an issue, oxidation has been at the forefront to people’s resistance to buy and wear Sterling Silver Jewelry. Silver tarnishes. Some companies for years plated their silver with Nickel which is beautiful, shiny and does not tarnish. But recently it has come to light that people are many times allergic to this metal. So lately Rhodium from the platinum family of metals was used. There are other coatings which to a greater or lesser extent slow or try to stop the tarnishing process.
However, all the methods have downsides to them. Most notably is the fact that if Silver is plated with a super thin coat of another metal or e-coating or any sort of anti-tarnish agent, its plating starts to erode and come off over time and the result is far worse than simple tarnishing and can ruin the Silver Jewelry altogether.
We opted for a far different approach. We do not plate ANY of our Jewelry with any sort of anti-tarnish coating. Instead we supply (with every order) a simple homemade how-to guide on how to get rid of not only future tarnish on your Silver Jewelry, but this works on ALL Silver - Jewelry Flatware - all of it and this has met with rave reviews from our customers. And it is done with simple household ingredients you most likely already have at your house.

This chain is fantastic. I have severe allergies to everything, but didn't react to this chain.It didn't turn my neck green, or rust, or get funky. No rash, wounds, no flare up of eczema.It polished back up after every shower with the towel as I dried off, no problems. I never took it off except when medical testing required me to (and I tried to refuse removing it every time lol). It has on it a small pendant and for the past two years or so a very lightweight ring as well.It snapped when my hair brush caught it. :(I'll be replacing it with the exact same one or maybe one slightly thicker once I check the loop on my pendant and hoping for the same long term use and no allergic reaction from it.

It was a great chain, the 30ish length was perfect because I have trouble with clasps. I wore a small pendant on it and wore it everyday. The material was perfect and didn’t flare up my allergies at all. But after only 5 months the chain snapped. Granted I do have a toddler who yanks on it so it probably would have lasted much longer otherwise.

EDIT - Alright so my full original review that I left a few days ago is below. A few hours after I posted it, someone contacted me and told me that it was indeed a defect and that he was sending me 2 replacement chains (one is a bit thicker than the other). I've had the chain on for about 15 hours now, I've been adjusting the pendant like normal, and it is holding up excellently. Still looks great and feels perfect! Just wanted to let everyone know that this is indeed a great purchase and their customer service is top-notch.ORIGINAL (had given 1 star) - I ordered this because the clasp of the necklace I had been wearing for over a year broke. I still love the pendant so my solution was to buy a new chain for it. I came home from work yesterday and put this on, and I absolutely loved it. The chain is light and elegant, it doesn't yank on the little hairs on the nape of my neck, and it looks beautiful. It even came with a cute little "emergency kit" that included earring backs, a polishing square, and jewelry bags.However, later that evening, I was simply adjusting the pendant on the chain while it was around my neck. I wasn't being the slightest bit rough with it and there was zero yanking. But the chain just broke in the middle. I don't know if I just got a defective chain or what, but this sucks because it really was a very nice chain. Just wish it had lasted longer than a few hours.

This chain started pulling out hair as soon as I put it on. I have never experienced this amount of pulling in any other chain I have worn, and I didn't even sleep in it. I will not be wearing it again and have already thrown away the packaging, so it was a complete waste of money.

This necklace is so pretty and delicate. However it is very strong, my dog's claw accidentally got caught on it when I was putting him in the car and the necklace didn't break. I was very shocked because anther necklace I had purchased off ebay that was similar, had broken when it caught on my own finger on it and it broke so easily. Therefore I was very shocked to see that such a shiny pretty and thin necklace was so strong.The Company also sent some pieces of paper that help keep the necklace and other sterling silver jewelry very shiny. They also sent some additional bags so you can put different jewelry pieces in them and cut the tarnish papers up and divide between the different bags. Along with that they also sent cleaning instructions and a bag full of rubber earring backs. I had other sterling silver rings that were tarnished and I didn't read the cleaning instructions before I started cleaning with the tarnish resistant papers, so I started rubbing them on the other rings I have and the charms that are pictured on my photos uploaded to give you a view of the necklace. My charms were really tarnished and the papers also worked really well on them. I was very impressed. If I ever need another necklace I would definitely purchase another one from this company.My only comment is that I ordered a 20" necklace and I had read some other reviews and they said their necklaces were shorter then the other chains of the same size that they had. So knowing this information I ordered a 20" I am a overweight lady and so my neck chest area is larger then some (thinner people, HAHA). So I received the necklace and it definitely was smaller then another 20" necklace I have. So I was actually happy with the length of the necklace. I felt that for my (larger size) it was perfect.

Absolutely adore this sterling silver chain. It is super light weight but sturdy. Has a lovely finish to it. Put my studded pendant, which has a good amount of weight to it. However, this chain is quite strong. It is fairly thin. Wouldn’t suggest tugging on it too hard. Also came with a lil plastic ziplock baggies and material to help take care of the sterling silver chain. The online delivery was very quick. Well worth the money.

I love this chain. It’s perfect for an heirloom piece that is expensive and delicate. 30 inches long , I like to put necklaces on over the head not fiddling with the clasp as my hand are arthritic. The price is unbelievable. The similar silver chain at The Bay store is $159.00, And yours is much prettier. This is the third one we have bought and now my source for them.

Love this necklace! Got it to go with my heart pendant my son gave me. Ordered 18†and it’s perfect. Really good quality for the price! Can’t see any joints/crimps on the fasteners and LOVE the lobster claw hook! Great purchase! Will definitely buy from them again :)
