Ordered this oil cooler for a 3.6 L engine in my vehicle. This oil cooler does not have the plastic design on the original oil cooler where my OEM one failed. I do not know why the OEM manufacturers would go with plastic on the engine. However, this full aluminum replacement is a great choice to prevent future issues. I have not had an issues with this replacement and zero leaks.Overall, a great replacement for the plastic OEM.
