I've only used one of these cutters, but I know from experience what they do and how they work and unless you're going in industrial, they will be fine. One large warning: it has an SDS shank, NOT a straight shank- it is designed for use with an SDS hammer drill/rotary drill, not your standard tree job grill chuck. I got mine to work in a Dewalt cordless drill, but it won't hold tight very long that way.

Needed an odd size core bit and this was the cheapest option. Worked out well for what I needed.Only issue, the bolt that holds the pilot kept loosening. Wass pretty annoying. Ended up cranking it down with an impact & socket lol. Now it won't come loose haha. IF I stored the bits in the case it came in it'd be an issue but I put them in a packout box with my SDS max so all good.

I needed to core a 1 1/2 hole in my 8x16 cinder block foundation for my new water main in my basement and this handy little drill bit did the trick in 15 minutes. My basement is finished with 2x4 laid flat to the cinder block with insulation and drywall. I went through everything and left a clean cut on my interior drywall. I am stoked to say the least. After I got the first two inches drilled I used a standard 1/2 x 10 inch pipe then used a reducer to 1/4 so it would fit into my standard 20amp battery drill which has the hammer setting. I could have done it quicker but had to let the drill cool a couple of times. :)

Unit cuts through masonry easily and made all the brick cuts I needed in SDS drill mode. Price was good for a part time tool user. Recommend using anti-seize products on the threads for the hole saw and the drill shaft when assembling for use. Also lubricate the drill bit shank. Buy 2 cheap 10mm combination wrenches and leave them in the kit to tighten and loosen the bit shank set bolt. This will save you 2 trips to the tool chest and not leave you stranded out in the field.

We had to purchase this kit after our 5" concrete saw died halfway through the job of cutting 26 holes in asphalt. We had to match the existing 5" holes which turned out to be a rare size. This tool worked great for cutting. After 13 holes it shows no wear and tear. However, the shallow saw bit made cutting through 3-4" of asphalt difficult. We had to cut as deep as the bit would go and then use a rotary hammer to chisel out the deeper sections. Not perfect for what I needed it for, but it got the job done without breaking the bank. Plus I have all the smaller bits for smaller jobs.

its nice because they are many sizes and it drills pretty well , the only issue is that the attachment is stuck to one of the drill size and i cant get it off, other then that its a fine product
