I tried the chrome socket first and it was not deep enough to go over my O2 sensor. Switched to the short black socket with the 3/8 square drive and it fit perfectly. I couldn’t get it loose with a ratchet so I used an impact wrench. I impacted for several seconds before the sensor broke loose. It was very tight! The socket still looks good as new after being abused with an impact. This was a great purchase. Very low price and no damage after use. I expect it to last me a lifetime as a diy homeowner.

this kit worked well for me i used the thread chaser and it worked to clean the threads i liked that there are options as to which socket you can use

I couldn't have gotten the job done without this kit. The 22mm and 7/8 sockets worked perfectly for my hard to reach bank one sensor 1 O2 sensor in my 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 truck. I highly recommend this product.

This set was affordable, sturdy ,ease to use,and glad I ordered it cause my boyfriend was having trouble getting oxygen sensors off but this tool helped him .he said made the job easier for him..

I love this brand because the sockets are always of high quality for a very reasonable price. As a miser, I don’t like paying other people to do things I can do myself. As such I have learned how to do a lot of auto work myself. I had to change the upstream 02 sensor on my Elantra and after seeing how easy it was to do I bought this tool. Got the sensor off within a minute or two and that was mostly due to it being a bit stuck. I also love the case - you can tell the plastic is injection molded as it is high quality. The texture of the plastic is nice as well as it gives you a bit of grip when carrying it. The socket fits perfectly for the sensor and, when properly used, makes for a quick and easy removal of the 02 sensor. 5/5 will continue buying tools from this company.
