My PJD7820 projector remote stopped working (only certain buttons though of course) and so I was looking for a replacement. After some research, I found this one on Amazon. It arrived super fast thanks to Prime, and works great.One thing to note - it's not exactly the same as the PJD7820 - slightly different button configuration (but it does work the same), you just need to get used to the Video button being called VGA2 but it works as the video button (cycling through source). There is a Video button, but I found that VGA2 is placed the same as Video on the OEM, and that works, so sticking with it!

Lost the original remote for the projector. This worked fine as a replacement. Couldn't find the actual remote for the model (which also had a laser pointer built-in).

I bought it for my ViewSonic PJD-7820HD after it broke as a result of being dropped. I decided this would be the best replacement, and when it came it worked perfectly and seems even better than the original it replaced!

Not great !! Poorly works, doesn’t turn on/off, it sometimes work within 1 feet range, not sure if I received defective one.

I was looking for a remote replacement for my projector. I lost the original and had to be using a stick to be able to teach the projector to control it manually. This remote works as good as the original.

Loved that it was a functioning remote and made it much easier than having to get up to turn the volume up or down. Huge drawback is, it only worked a week! Tried everything I know to fox it. $20 wasn't worth it
