I've had three other rechargeable LED light pads, of varying quality. Recently I have started using thicker cardstock in my artwork, and not even my best light pad will shine through two layers of that. So I searched on Amazon for "extra bright light pad." I came up with this one, which said it was 8,660 lux, and another that was 9000 lux. I wanted the brighter one, but this one had the option to buy a case for it, and the price of this one with the case was cheaper than the other one. Plus, this one looked like it was made a lot better; the other one sort of looked thrown together. So I tentatively ordered this one. You never know how these things will actually perform, Amazon sellers always describe their items with flowery language and big claims. I made sure it was returnable, and was fully ready to be disappointed, as I have been with so many light pads. But when this arrived, I was both pleasantly surprised and blown away. The unit arrived charged, and when I pressed the on button, I was almost blinded by the brightness! Now if you want it to be less bright, you can certainly turn it down, but I was looking for BRIGHT and I got BRIGHT. I reached for my heavy cardstock, and this pad easily shone through two layers of it, like my old light pads shone through paper. I am VERY happy with this light pad. The brightness and light style options are very handy and easy to use. The case is basic but solid, and does exactly what I wanted it to, protecting my pad from bumps and bruises. Excellent product.

I have a larger heavier cutterpillar light that I end up using rarely. This little lightweight light is very portable for placing fabric images to position for paper piecing. I use a translucent gridded rotary cutting mat on top which enables me to cut the size I need then place it perfectly on my foundation paper. Super useful and worth the minimal investment

I love the size and the dimmer capability. It does not recharge fast. It took 24 hours, approx., to charge when it died. It dims and brightens on its own, very frustrating. Just don't let it die, as it will not work by just plugging it back in. You would think when it has direct power it would work, nope. I am using the charger and cord provided, so it isn't that.UPDATE: 8/16/2024 Seller replaced board that was defective. However, this new board is doing the same thing. It shows the board is charged and plugged i but it keeps shutting off. This round I only had it turned on for 5-10 minutes. I will be changing to a different company for a new one.

Works great. Various strength and has warm and cool lighting. The only reason I didn't give 5 Stars is that the 3 hour battery life is not long enough for my needs and I did not realize the keeping it plugged in doos not keep it going past the 3 hour tme.

The A2 is sized perfectly to place the entire matt on the lighted surface while doing Diamond Dots. The brightness is adjustable with the push of a button and is more adequate. The built in battery is great for on the go crafting.

I use the TOHETO A4 Rechargeable LED Light Pad mainly for my Cricut vinyl projects, and it has been fantastic. The quality for the price is excellent, and it works perfectly for what I need. It has made customising items much quicker and more efficient. The buttons are very easy to use, and the size is just right for all my projects. I also love that you can choose the light colour and adjust the intensity, which makes it even more versatile. Highly recommend it for anyone working with vinyl or similar crafts!

Best thing I have brought should have brought one in the first place , wouldn,t be without it. Love it. Fits perfectly on my craft table value for money. Brightness is brilliant it,s so easy to use and the weight is perfect. Awesome.
