I used to use a flash drive for all of my password or store them in my phone, but after so many hacks and virus issues. I decided to go old school and write them all down using pencil since they have to change so often. It was a quick decision after I received a quote on the cost to restore my flash drive, that wouldn't guarantee results and the time spent to get all fraudulent cc or bank charges reversed. I like all of the features it has. The combination lock has come in handy to keep my 5 year old granddaughter from opening it up and using it as her own personal coloring book for her creations! :-) Each page has several needed sections but for me it could use more sections. Since AI was release every website login protocol has increase with more information required, thus more sections are needed. That's my only suggestion, same number of pages just less sections on each page with more categories to accommodate the new login requirements.

Good item to have and the lock is great. The only thing is that even though it locks, you can cut the material and open it

Everything is as described in detail via this seller's ad... ! I Love this Password book, plenty space to write info, comes with "memo" pages that can be used to write notes as needed, is Alphabetized and has holder for pencil or pen. Bonus is I can order add extra password pages if needed.When my Password book arrived in October 2023 it was in a cellophane wrapper to protect it. I put it aside until I was ready to transfer all my passwords to it which was the morning of Feb 29 2024 The lock was preset to 000 and when I tried to open it with the user manual provided it would not open. I immediately contacted seller who responded in the evening with instructions. In the meantime I found a video on youtube explaining how to open it in case you forget your code. The video basicall matched the seller's written instructions. Success all around. I was impressed with the Seller and the book and will order another, in a different color, as a gift! P.S. Found code had accidentally been preset to 007... :)

PU means poly-urethane, plastic. Sunlight will bleach the color, harden the edges and spine. Then it will crack. Buy it a nice slip-cover. Or keep it in a drawer, on a shelf. Even the heat from your computer can over time damage the outside cover. The lock on this is nice, easy to use and accurate. Though a letter opener could easily slice the thin tab closure. A slip of kevlar fabric, glued inside would secure that. If you require more security for your passwords, invest in a portable private slip safe. If you even think someone has accessed your book, nothing is more important than sitting down for a personal security break. Go through and change all passwords, even grocery stores, pharmacy, medical and insurance. Babysit your bank and card accounts from home, ask for auto alerts. Pick just one account for all your transactions, till you feel the risk has passed. If uneasy, you can ask most to send a new card, freeze for a time or pay it off. Check your Credit Report as well, some things get that far and no further, so you would not be aware of it. This is a perfect gift for any friend or family member. A great place to start taking your own security seriously.

the top 3 ring do not close so I have put sheets back in rings and don't stay, other then that I like it

I bought 2 of these. The first one I couldn't get the lock to work- and if you don't follow the instructions exactly (make a small mistake setting the password- there is no way to unlock it- so I ended up cutting off the strap to use it. The second one I followed the instructions exactly and it worked. Nice book though. Wouldn't buy it again for the lock since it is easy to cut off anyways.
