I have order 2 of these...they are advertised as 12.5 inches long..the first one was 7.5 inches the second one was 9.5 inches..both are being returned.

Ordered this for a thrift store find that was missing the proper part, which appears to now be unobtainium. We measured carefully, but it barely fit. Needed a lot of wrangling to insert the spit in our Farberware tabletop oven, then it got stuck; no bueno. ZipSaw to the rescue! I used the cutoff attachment to remove a centimeter from the butt end of the spit and voila! Perfect fit! Now we can roast cornish game hens to our heart's content. Significant savings over other versions of exactly the same thing. I should probably go and give the ZipSaw a thumbs up, as well.

The fact that this product is adjustable, solved the problem that I had. Makes for a snug fit. Problem solved.

Product was is great shape and as described with prongs. Originally product was to take only 3-4 days but actually took 7 days. I did receive updates concerning the delay.

Don’t buy this product. Cheap materials. Smaller than what is needed. A waste of money.
