You can tell that this tool is well made and balanced for ergonomic design. The seam on the striking faces has been removed which is important when using this hammer on soft surfaces such as assembling furniture. This prevents a indentation on the surface. Of course its U.S.A. made which is always a selling point with me.

The cost is higher than. Cheaper hammer are out there put no wear after two months. Coworker has had same brand over year looks great still. And made in USA.

Item does not look like the picture. It did not have a black handle. And the qualify compared to the picture one that I had ordered is very poor.

Great, had it for a year and a half doing masonry and carpentry full time. Has held up really well. Others I work with have gone through numerous other brands in that time which resulted in them all breaking.
