I put this on my Maddox 5 pound HF slide hammer. Paired it with "ABN Front Wheel Drive Axle Pulley Attachment - CV Axle Removal Tool CV Joint Slide Hammer". I slammed on the thing for an hour and finally pulled the axle that was seized on a 2013 Nissan Rogue. The extension and axle pully attachment saved my bacon. Would have never gotten it out without it, I don't think. Worth every penny to me.

This extension is a very useful addition to a slide hammer tool kit. I was using this on the inner part of a long CV shaft which allowed me to run the slide outside of the car instead of underneath the engine. (Of course, even this extension won't help if the carrier bearing is frozen.). Glad I bought it.

This gave me the space I needed to use a slide hammer in the wheel well for removing a CV shaft. Without it I just couldn't get a good pull on the slide hammer. I attached this extension and hammered it out in no time!
