Perfect carpet for a speakerbox or hatchback decklid. Exactly as described!I made a replacement tonneau cover for my VW golf, and this carpet is a near perfect match to the factory black carpeting.I will be using the left over to wrap my speakerbox until i can build a false floor style.Stretchy, easily cut, and very absorbent of the spray adhesive!

It’s thin but durable. Easy to work with, cut, etc I used staples and rubber cement. Just be careful with the cement, some might seep through this thin carpet if you saturate it.I bought both black and gray. Here is a comparison picture. The gray is actually darker than I thought it would be. I did the inside of a cabinet black, and it’s so dark in there you can’t even make out where the corners are. Pitch black indeed. Also, you can use a black sharpie to color any staples.Another nice thing about this carpet is you can easily patch pieces together, and the seams are basically undetectable.If I need more, I’ll be getting this brand.

Very good product, the carpet came clean and crisp. Was very easy to install as long as you have the right glue / tools. Speaker box looks amazing and I'd buy this again for sure if I needed more.

I was building my van out and me as a women wasn’t real precise on measurements so had some things wrong I ordered this product and put up on walls and corners and over the 2 boards on my roof which I didn’t want to paint...this product covered it all made it looked finished...what a great product..and a great finish on it..now my van looks professional done...thanks

I used this to line my gun case I am building. I used the 3 M Super 77 spray adhesive. The material can easily be cut using a metal straight edge and a razor knife. I found that it adheres more reliable to dull surfaces. I painted my cabinet with a glossy paint first. It is ok for horizontal surfaces, but on vertical surfaces the material tends to come off; at least at the edges.Overall, I really like the way you can cut this and apply it. I applied the spray to the back side of the material, laying it outside on the grass. With a little practice you can easily apply it on all kinds of shapes. Any of that spray glue that gets on the finish side is easily wiped off with a rag and a little mineral spirits.

"Carpet" is very thin, only about 2mm. There is virtually no nap to it. This is more like a heavy felt than carpet. It is nearly identical to the carpet in my 2012 Mazda3, however. Since I was buying this for a 2001 Honda, though, I needed something with more nap. This is NOT what I am used to seeing for auto or marine or subwoofer box carpeting. I can still use it for other projects, but the description is very inaccurate. Buyer beware. Quality seems good for what it is, it's just mis-labeled.

I have used this carpet on my Jeep (98 TJ) for a deck, my buddies Jeep (10 JK) deck and on my Toyota Matrix for a DIY carpet kit for when the seats fold down. This stuff is awesome! The first roll was nicer then the 2nd I got as the thickness was thicker but I have not notices any difference is quality with VERY heavy use in all applications. Really nice carpet, easy to use and cut. I went for this carpet as the size it comes in worked for what I needed, its one of the bigger/wider rolls I have been able to find for such a good price.
