This is not like the carpet you get on pre-built speaker boxes, it's a little softer to the touch... But worked great for the amp rack that I built for my truck and it's pretty tough...

Its a cheap thin carpet, coulda got the same thing at Jo-Ann fabrics. If you use rubber cement the correct way and know how to lay it it will look good, just very thin and easily destroyed if your project, or speaker box gets moved more that 1 or 2 times.

Perfect for speaker boxes. Use 3m spray glue, good to go.

It's not the best quality stuff, but it looks great, and it's super easy to work with. Pretty easy to stretch and bend, and easy to cut with a utility knife. Sometimes, especially on corners, it does stretch a little too much, but nothing you can't handle. For this price, it's impossible to beat!
