Could not find torque specifications on the device, or on the documentation here.Decided to use 20 inch pounds for 6 awg wire like all my other breakers. The case separated wide enough to see inside it before the wire was fully torqued.Did not use this device after causing the case to separate. No desire to tempt having a fire in the panel.If 20†pounds was too much torque, then that’s my bad. If not? The unit I got could not handle it.

It's only got CE certification, so you might not get a pass from the inspector. But they are a great replacement for those old wire-in wire-out residential distribution panel breakers long past their service lives.
