I didn't know what to expect for $30; I am So Very Pleased! This stool is easily put together: BEAUTIFUL & PERFECT! The craftmanship and finish are carefully considered and administered. I love it!! The stool is really heirloom quality either glowing softly by the hearth or being used to rest tired feet on after a long day--it is and will be appreciated for many years!! Just a quick bit of advice for assembly: Consider which way you want the bottom rung to face up (prettiest side up :). Because the furniture is screwed together, be considerate and cautious of the screwing in of the bolts (thank you for the tool that works and the extra bolt BTW!). Screw the bolts in a little bit at a time BY HAND to get a good resolution and a firm grip on the final assembly. Also, because this is furniture with screws, be confident that tightening and turning the screws in every seasonal turning is most probably a pretty good idea. Treat this little BEAUTY with such kindness, and she will last a long time (I'm hoping:).

This product is very well made and easy to assemble. I am having a problem with a persistent cough and I am using this product to hold my room humidifier (with a towel underneath to protect the wood.)

Nice little end table, stool, footrest, charging station for your devices or even a seat for getting dressed. Just be sure to shop around. I'm a tiny bit OCD and the natural wood pattern, though perfectly made, wasn't exactly my cup of tea. For $40 it's perfectly made, though. It's real acacia. The top is very smooth and will remind you of a chopping block, though perfectly smooth and finished well. Was easy to put together too if you're familiar with a simple Allen wrench. Don't over-torque the screws and you've got yourself a solid little new stool.

I ordered this stool in March of this year to have in my bathroom and to be used occasionally, well hardly used and is falling apart, first it became wobbly and when I picked it up a few days ago the leg is detaching from the seat, the screws are totally loose and not holding and cannot fix because the wood is disintegrating, looks good on the outside but it’s very bad quality!
