Part is thicker than OEM, terminals seem more heavy duty very happy with this purchase, works great.

Excellent choice for our 98 Chevy 4.3L Blazer. Good quality, well built with brass pins. Helped cure my starting problem when the ACDelco distributor cap with aluminum pins failed with badly burned pins and began arching. Just reuse the old screws to mount the cap, the ACCEL cap comes with a course threaded screw for some reason?

good quality cap, this cap had corosion on terminals inside cap around 1500 miles, and had moisture inside cap thats why i had misfires, my ac delco cap with aluminum terminals corroded within 5,000 miles, get the ACCEL rotor also #130141 , snug screws evenly

great price, high quality cap with brass inserts compared to the best a/c delco etc that use aluminum, these caps last longer and cost the same or less

I, like a lot of other Astro owners experience chronic misfiring whenever the weather changes or it is wet or damp. This was my second cap in a year, having first gone with a cheap Autozone one. I have also replaced my spark plug wires - twice. And have replaced the spark plugs (what a pain!). All to no avail. As the weather warmed up above freezing, it is misfiring again. I pulled this Accel cap that I installed in August 2012 (it is now March 2013) and all the contacts have grown this metallic fur. It sort of wipes off, and I could probably scrub it clean with steel wool. Rather than do that, I have replaced it (for now) with an AC Delco cap that cost me about $70 at the dealer. That completely solved the very severe misfire I had this morning. Time will tell whether the new cap will last any longer.I cannot specifically blame this product. It may just be a fault of the vehicle. I can say that it did not solve the vehicle's problem.

I have a 96 Chevy Blazer with over 125,000 miles. I was having a rough idle and misfire. Only to find out it was due to my Duralast cap from Autozone. It was made poorly after inspection. This Accel cap has MUCH better quality than the Duralast. And it helped my misfire and idle. Don't settle for cheap crap when it comes to fixing your car.
