I’m installing GoBoard in our guest bathroom and ran out of the brand name washers. The GoBoard washers cost about $25 per 100. I only need 40 to finish my project so I figured I’d try these out for roughly $9 for 150 washers. I was pleasantly surprised with how well they work. They are smaller in diameter than the GoBoard ones. The GoBoard washers are 1-1/4†in diameter. These are an 1-1/8†in diameter and they are thinner. You would think that by being thinner, they would be weaker, but it actually makes them bight harder because as you tighten the screw, they mold better to the GoBoard than the original ones. I will buy these again for the master bath remodel that I’ll be doing once the guest bathroom is done. I bought the washers without the screws because the off brand backer board screws they sell here have horrible reviews. My advice is save some money on the washers BUT…spend the money at Home Depot or the other store and buy the good backer board screws. The aggravation you’ll avoid alone is worth the price difference!

Worked great for hanging board in my shower, but if I remember correctly, there was an uneven amount of washers to screws and they are all just thrown into a box so it’s kind of annoying to sort out. Other than that, they did what they were supposed to do.

I bought these for securing GoBoard to walls for tile. They bit into it well and hold it in place. I waterproofed them with Liquid Nails Fuze It before applying thinset and tiles. Good deal for the price and worked well for my needs.

washers are fine. the screws have more of a metal screw thread than threads for wood studs.

We recently installed new backerboard before installing our new flooring. These fasteners were the same as what we could find in the big box store and we got more of them for a fraction cost. And they work just the same. no complaints here.
